Flex Priority racing coilovers feature a dual-spring (dual-rate) coilover system, allowing the suspension to run two spring rates in one assembly for improved ride quality, traction, and control.

This style of coilover is commonly used in high-end 2.5” racing coilovers with remote reservoirs and is ideal for custom solid axle and performance off-road builds.

Dual-rate coilovers provide:

• Softer initial travel for comfort and articulation

• Increased support deeper into the stroke

• Improved bottom-out control

• Greater tuning flexibility compared to single-rate setups

Spring rates listed below are per coilover and intended as baseline recommendations. Final rates may vary depending on mounting position, motion ratio, and intended use.

Front Coilovers (Solid Axle / 4WD)

Light front end
(Minimal accessories)

• Top spring: 250–300 lb

• Bottom spring: 400–450 lb

Moderate accessories
(Bull bar, winch, single battery)

• Top spring: 300–350 lb

• Bottom spring: 450–550 lb

Heavy front end
(Steel bar, winch, dual batteries, diesel)

• Top spring: 350–400 lb

• Bottom spring: 550–650 lb

Rear Coilovers

Light rear
(Minimal load)

• Top spring: 150–200 lb

• Bottom spring: 250–300 lb

Touring setup
(Drawers, spare, moderate load)

• Top spring: 200–250 lb

• Bottom spring: 300–400 lb

Constant heavy load / competition

• Top spring: 250–300 lb

• Bottom spring: 400–450 lb
